The visionary game developer, renowned for co-creating the globally famous video game Call of Duty, has passed away in a car accident in Los Angeles, California aged 55.

The tragic news was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, a game studio he co-founded.

The renowned game designer lost his life when his vehicle was involved in a crash and was engulfed in flames on a highway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, as reported by.
