JuJutsu Kaisen: Execution isn't exactly an original movie. Rather, the recent movie from the Jujutsu Kaisen action franchise acts as a recap of the anime's second season merged with the initial episodes of its third season, which launches the Culling Games arc from the original manga. This positions Execution, which has been given a latest teaser, the quickest way to watch the commencement of the upcoming season ahead of its 2026 January debut. The movie premieres in cinemas in Japan starting November 7, and in North America on Dec. 5.

The Culling Games Storyline

In the Culling Games storyline, Top-tier jujutsu user Yuta Okkotsu finally joins the show and is charged by sorcery authorities to execute his fellow student Yuji Itadori. "The Thunderclap sequence" from the second season is often hailed as a top-tier scene in anime history, notwithstanding the major issues in last year when the installments originally aired. It was stated that the animation team were enduring harsh deadlines to the point, and the final version that premiered at the time was not fully polished and reportedly not what the animators initially intended.
